Our Children’s Ministry takes to heart our responsibility to children and the privilege it is to serve them and you. We know you want your children to develop an understanding of God’s love, His Word, and a true sense of identity and responsibility. Our promise to parents is simple: Your child, a creation of Almighty God, will be loved and ministered to in a Godly, fun, and safe environment.
Children's Worship
Kid tested. Parent approved. Your child will love UPTOWN Children’s Worship: exciting music, fun skits, cool videos, nutty games, wonderful messages…and always a surprise or two. It’s designed like “big church,” but on a kid-friendly level. Our older children help lead worship and even run tech. Children’s Worship is each Sunday of the month at 10:45 AM, except the last Sunday and on special occasions. On the last Sunday, the children are invited to sit with their families and celebrate the Lord’s Supper, baptisms, and other special events.
Bible Study
Did you know studies indicate a child’s spiritual foundation and sense of right and wrong are set by about the age of 12? What better way to help children in these areas than the study of the Bible. Our teachers  love children and love God. Great things happen when those two intersect. Bible Study for children takes place each Sunday at 9:30 AM.
Bible Buddies and Bible Drill
Fun and powerful? Yep. This is time in which kids not only memorize scripture, but take time
to discuss and understand the meaning. Your child will enjoy friends and teachers—and come
to internalize the greatness of God’s Word. Bible Buddies and Bible Drill takes place each Sunday afternoon at 4:30.
ConSpire
CONnect + inSPIRE= CONSPIRE! Each Wednesday night from 6:30 to 7:30 PM our children get together for a time of connecting with God and being inspired by His truths. Your child will enjoy the songs, stories, games, and scripture memorization (along with a piece of candy!).
Upward Soccer
 What do you get when you combine 250 children with caring coaches, and some soccer balls? Lots of fun! Each August, September and October, the FBC Baytown soccer fields are filled with sweaty children and a bunch of smiles. The message your child receives from day one:

Children's Choir
Singing seems to come easily to children—and we want to encourage it. Your child can begin to develop his or her talents in a positive and enjoyable manner--and it’s a great way to learn about God. Your child is always welcome at 5:30 on Wednesday evening.
Pre-Teen Disciple Now
D-Now is a focused weekend event in which the older children are invited to experience God in powerful and imaginative manner. They’ll end the weekend tired, worn-out and absolutely on fire for Jesus Christ.
Parent's Night Out
Children are invited regularly to enjoy a Friday night of fun, while the parents have some time
to “get away”. The kids love it (and so do the parents!).
 Children's Small Groups
This summer, your child is invited to attend Bible Study in a small group setting. Taking place on the FBC Campus, these Bible Studies will help your child learn more about and develop great friendships. They’re a blast!
Children's Fellowships
Load up the bus or open the doors: let’s have some great summer fellowships. This summer we’ll be taking the kids bowling, hosting movie events, and having Open Gym. The children are invited to bring a friend and celebrate life together.
