However, more important than being connected to FBC Baytown, is being connected to our Holy God. There’s only one way to God the Father and that is through His one and only Son, Jesus Christ. Has the path you’re on intersected with the path walked by Jesus? Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord? It’s really very simply: admit that you’ve done things that are offensive and hurtful to God (everyone has). Believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God—that He died on the cross for you and rose again (Jesus did). Confess your sins, asking God to forgive you (God will forgive!). You can do this right where you are—even now. Here’s a prayer that may help.

Dear Lord Jesus,
I know I have done wrong and I need to say I am sorry. I believe You are the Son of God. I believe He sent You to die for my sins and You rose from the grave on the third day. I want to turn away from doing wrong. I need Your forgiveness and I ask You to come into my life and heart. I will trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
